I am first and foremost mom to two awesome kids. They are my everything and definitely keep my on my toes. I am also wife to an amazing husband who keeps me laughing every single day.
As a former wedding planner, I have always loved event planning. Some of my favorite weddings were destination My background isn't just about making bookings; it's about designing one-of-a-kind experiences that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

When you've selected your package, your trip is booked! Then we will discuss all of your dining, transportation, and options for special extras. Then I will map out an itinerary for your dream vacation.

Q: Are your services really free??
A: Yes! When you book a vacation package or cruise with me, my concierge planning services are 100% complimentary. There are no hidden fees. You will pay the same as or less than what you would booking directly with the vendor.
Q: If I'm not paying for your services, am I paying more for my vacation? How do you get paid?
A: When you book with me, you will pay the same as or less than what you would booking directly. All travel suppliers (Disney, Universal, etc.) build a commission into their pricing. When you book directly with the supplier, they keep the commission for themselves and provide no additional planning services. When you book with a me as a travel agent, not only are you supporting a small business, but you are also receiving my travel planning services and expertise. Win-win!
Q: Do you offer deals I can’t get through the Disney website directly?
A: No...BUT the right travel planning can actually save you money by avoiding costly mistakes and finding the best deals. I am here to analyze the deals that are out there and help you select the one that would save YOU and your travel party the most money. Every party is unique and one offer may work better for different groups.
Q: Do I have to pay everything upfront?
A: Usually, no. A deposit will be required to secure your reservation. The amount varies based on the type of reservation and the supplier's particular policies. I will advise you before booking of the required deposit, when your balance is due, and will work with you to set up a payment plan, if desired.
Q: What about special needs like dietary restrictions or mobility concerns?
A: You deserve a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. If you have special needs, dietary restrictions, or accessibility concerns, let me know. I have all of the information you need to know to ensure that your unique needs are met.
Q: already booked with Disney. Can you still help me plan my trip?
A: Most likely. Email me at kate.russo@academytravel.com to see if your reservation can be transferred to me - a simple process that costs you nothing. If so, you'll receive all of the same services listed above for FREE! If not, I will quote you a one-time planning fee based on the specifics of your trip.
As a professional courtesy, I will not accept transfers on vacations that have been booked with another travel agency/agent.
